Big M. Inc., the privately held operating company of Mandee and Annie sez stores, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Web Copywriter / Blogger to join our dynamic Marketing team.
The successful candidate will be an energetic self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who is committed to excellence, success and a bit of sass.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
In this newly created position, this individual will play a key
role in our internet marketing efforts. Responsibilities include
but will not be limited to maintaining our websites and capturing
the brand voice in interactive social networks such as
Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, MyYearbook, Hi5,
YouTube, etc.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand the special ideas and styles that appeal to our target market - must be versed in pop culture & teen market trends. Must know what’s HOT and what’s NOT.
Create appropriate website copy and social media status updates that grab the attention of our trendy “Friends" / customers by researching, following and keeping abreast of all the latest fashion, music and pop-culture news.
“Chat up" our marketing message to strengthen our relationship with our current customers and “Poke" and “Tweet" to build relationships with new customers.
Share the latest Mandee news (contests, promotions, customer events and engagements) with our customers and fashion bloggers.
Ensure all sites and profiles are kept fresh and current. “Post" updates of all outside sites/profiles that require technical skill.
“Tag" our Mandee Girl Fashionista with all the latest looks, styles and of the moment trends.
Create, generate and run keyword reports.
Track & analyze results of marketing efforts - propose improvements based on findings.
Assist with related projects as needed.
